If you encounter technical problems with the DeKalb County employment application, click here for troubleshooting hints. DeKalb County Human Resources must receive all applications during business hours by the
closing date specified for the job. Applications must be received by the DeKalb County Human Resources Field Office
before 4:30 p.m. on the closing date, or must be received by DeKalb County Human Resources Decatur office
before 5:00 p.m. on the closing date. This includes applications received by hand, U.S. mail or email.

To complete the application online, please follow the steps below.
To manually submit applications use Formatta Filler (from Step 1 above) to open and print off the blank form. Users may also type their data directly onto the electronic form and save and print the typed application form. Application packages may be obtained in person at either of our two offices (Maloof Center in Decatur, 1300 Commerce
Drive or at 755 Camp Way), or you may request that one be sent to you in the mail by calling (404) 371-2332 or writing the
Decatur office at 1300 Commerce Drive, Room 100, Decatur, GA 30030. Be sure to identify the job number, as well as the title of the job requested, to ensure proper processing of your application. Some positions require supplemental forms in addition to the application. Call 404-371-2332 to request the appropriate form. The DeKalb Employment Application form must be completed in its entirety or your application may be disqualified. Résumés will not be accepted in lieu of the official application or supplemental forms. Résumés may be attached as additional information but will not be used for evaluation purposes. Please note that applications submitted electronically will not have a signature at the time of submission. Applicants will be required to sign the application prior to accepting any employment offer.
