When should I call 311 or 911?
Call 311 for general information, to requests for general service delivery. Examples: Animal Control Problems, Garbage Pickup, Abandoned Vehicle.

Call 911 to report life threatening situations, any crimes that are in progress, and all serious or violent offenses. Examples include public safety, life-threatening siutations, fire and medical emergencies, all violent crimes, domestic violence, vehicle crashes.
